The 8th Project Steering Committee Meeting and the 5th Project Visit of the LIFE-IP 4 NATURA project, which is implemented under the coordination of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy and with the participation of eleven more partners, will take place on the premises of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 8 to 10 February 2022.
In the context of the meetings, the results and progress of the project will be discussed and presented, as well as the plan for future work and actions.
The Action Plans for species and habitats of EU interest and their implementation, the capacity-building specific tools and seminars that have been developed, as well as the results of mapping and assessment of ecosystem services at national level and the process of setting Conservation Objectives, are some of the topics which will be discussed.
In parallel, the contribution of the project to the implementation of the Prioritized Action Framework (PAF) 2014-2020, its connection with the implementation of European Policies and finally, the upcoming pilot implementation of Management Plans in Natura 2000 sites of our country will be discussed.
